For those of you that don’t remember the “Petting Zoo” incident, it was way back in Java Jaguar #76. It was also the first time Java used the “Death Blossom” maneuver. The parking lot of that same petting zoo was also the first appearance of Dingo Jack, making the Petting Zoo a very important locale in the Geography of the Java Verse.

Did Java go too far, or did those kids deserve it? I need to know. If Java makes too far of a Heel Turn I need to know he’ll be able to recover. And I can’t rely on my own judgement about the validity of Good and Evil because I root for the monsters in horror films. I mean, Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley was the Antagonist, right?

Right?

Nevermind.

Today’s Java Jaguar was drawn and uploaded from a pet sit in San Francisco, right across the street from Golden Gate Park. I took my charge, a Golden Retriever named Dune on an hour-long trek through said park, because I have never been here before. I explored less than half of it and there’s an Art School, Baseball Fields, Handball Courts, Lawn Bowling Fields, a Science Academy, and probably a bunch of stuff I forgot.

This is why I sit the pets.
