Java 175
Begun this CLOWN WAR has!
Full disclosure, I did not actually hand draw all of those clowns coming out of the car. If I were an ambitious cartoonist I would have made an animated short of about fifty clowns climbing out of that car and forming a clown phalanx. But alas, I will leave it to your imagination.
I created and uploaded this strip from a Starbucks in Fredericksville, TX. Texas actually allows people to sit inside restaurants and eat. Unfortunately this particular Starbucks is closed because they apparently had a water main break, but they have an electrical outlet available in their outdoor seating and their Wi-Fi is still on. Also, plenty of shade, because it is much hotter here than it was on the California coast.
Glad I got this Java finished after missing a couple weeks. I should be back to my regularly scheduled comic updates. Of course, I have zero comics buffer, so who knows…

Sloshi, the Clown Martial Art, is absolutely dangerous. Battle-clowning can trap three men in a single ladder tie, and those pies are *deadly*.
It’s terrible for morale too. There’s nothing like your own forces being incapacitated by laughter to humiliate those caught in the ‘performance’, that is if a trained phalanx of Sloshi-using clowns bothers to spare enough of your forces to even form an ‘audience’.
GNU Terry Pratchett (a man is not dead while his name is still spoken)
Long live clone stamp, by whatever name!
I challenge anyone to count how many clowns there are. I’m not doing that though ’cause I don’t thrive on frustration. 🙂
I think there is 17
I think there is 17 clowns. Might still be more in the car.
It’s either 19 or 20. I chose a smart way of counting them – tops of the heads. There is one clown in the car whose head is not visible, and another who is getting out of the car whose head may or may not be showing.
Clown Posse?
What? That’s insane! Maybe the water-squirting flowers make it a clown posey.
I don’t know whether this is an artistic error or a Kick Point in the making, but the clown coming out of the book has a see-through stripe on his leg. 🙂
