Just call him our “Wizard,” then he’ll be excited about coming along.
One fighter, one ranger, and a nerd. The fellowship is all set to embark on its quest to find The Golden Sphinx.
What could go wrong?

Darn right to call Matt “The Wizard”, because nerds are not dorks.
I’ve always been a little fuzzy on the difference. There was a comedian that made a Venn Diagram explaining the difference between nerds, dorks and geeks.
I still think of “geek” as technical term. A geek is someone who geeks for a living. Geeks are the people who bite off chicken heads, eat light bulbs, push nails through their flesh, and other such things deemed gross by the audience.
Best Buy(tm) has a whole team of those guys!
“Squad.” They call themselves a squad.
I gotta say, there’s something endearing about the last panel.
Okay, I found the definitive answer to the difference between a geek and a nerd. It comes with a power point presentation so it has to be legit. I’m not sure if the “skip to” function will work properly on an embedded video, if not you can skip ahead to 1:20.
I must point out: wearing only fur & having a tendency to go into a berserker frenzy ar not generally hallmarks of “fighters.”
That is true. 3 Kick Points to Ebonbolt for pointing out my obvious flaw in assigning D&D Stats to Java (worse even than him insisting that he is Neutral Good!). Although, truth be told, he needs to have some Sneak Attack dice, so he would probably have some Rogue levels as well…
