As you can see, Java did not fall for Archives’ crude attempt to frame MerlinOfTheTower for his question. I’m not sure why the subterfuge, that is certainly a legitimate question for a jaguar. I had to go back in the Java archives (small “A”) to find which city Archives (big “A”) lives in. I feel like I’m in charge of homeland security. Then out of curiosity, I looked up Lynden in Google maps and noted that it is practically kissing Canada. Which led me to suspect that Archives may just be a Canadian Spy, like secret agent Maple Scone. But then I thought… nah. Also, we can all start calling Archives “Big A” as a nickname. I think you’ve earned it…. That plus 5 Kick Points. :o)
That was a pretty good rambling train of thought.
Speaking of Washington, this week’s Java Jaguar was drawn and uploaded from my mom’s place in Long Beach, Washington. Got here on Monday, just ahead of that “Bomb Cyclone” brewing off the coast. Hopefully, I won’t lose power over the next few days. If there is an interruption in the flow of webcomics, blame the Earth.
The most important thing about Lynden, WA is that the “Welcome to Lynden” sign is over the road through the cemetery.

Question for Java:
Views on civet coffee? Would Java ever pursue something similar?
He had a Civet coffee question already. How about if I rephrase it as: “Dear Java, would you consider eating coffee beans and pooping them out to make your own version of civet coffee?”
How about
Java, would you consider force-feeding civets coffee beans, then eating the civets to make a superior coffee?
