Uh oh… something’s going on inside that head of Matt’s.
Stay tuned to see what kind of life-changing decisions Matt will be making soon.

Well, to be fair he’ll likely never top this. Best to go out on a (caffeine) high.
Oh, you’re axing Java…? That’s a shame. I was hoping you’ll do that coffee competition arc I was suggesting before the comic’s run completed.
I’d like to pint out you’re axing the comic which is *least* work which is a bad deal for you. Kickman probably has the best readership. The Superheroines would be the best choice – it’s the most work, probably offends a lot of people because of the leering cameraman and antics. It’s your decision but it feels… strange.
I’ll also never be able to earn Java Bits which is a huge letdown.
Whoops, forgot to fill in my details. That was my post. 🙂
YOU tell Java Matt’s axing Java. I’ll stay waaaay over her where it’s safe.
Last I checked the poll on Kickman the clear loser was RSHV with over half the votes cast. If Matt is dropping something (which hasn’t been announced, just suggested due to scheduling crunches), that looks to be the one to go.
Also, we know comics-Matt needs to quit so he can start training for his future role in Kickman.
What? No, don’t close up. I’ve told a few friends about this wonderful strip.
Hell, all! I wrote this strip a long while back, before I posted the poll. No, I have no plans to cancel Java, sorry if I scared anyone. Java gets the least traffic I think of my strips (it’s hard to tell, because of the format of Real Superheroines–each chapter counts as only one page view). However, like Anony-Merlin pointed out, Java requires far less work than the other two strips, so it wouldn’t make much sense to cancel him. I would hardly gain any time. For now, I’m going to try to keep all three going regularly. I’ll just sleep less. Get creative about carrying my Surface around with me wherever I go, so I can draw between classes and such. Maybe teach kids how to use Clip Studio Paint while I’m subbing instead of teaching them gibberish like… “Social Studies” or “The Maths.”
*smiles* Part of the problem is advertising. I found Java because of a tiny text link under ‘comics I like’ on Kickman (I found Kickman through Collective of Heroes). Many people would miss that. With Real Superheroines that kind of advertising makes sense because it’s intended for an adult audience but Java could take a banner ad on Kickman and many more people would find the comic.
