Java 322
Don’t do it, Java! If you say something nice to someone you will lose your Jaguar Powers!
He’s like Wolverine combined with House, MD.
So I decided not to take the full-time art job and just to continue working as a substitute. Because I would actually make the same amount or slightly more money working as a sub. That is of course assuming I am able to work every day. Which seemed like a safe bet since I worked every day for two weeks. But then, I only signed up for a half day today, and no sub job has opened up yet for tomorrow.
Anyway, here is Java Jaguar, just a few hours late. Which I was able to complete this morning because I only work a half day and don’t have to show up at campus until 1:30 pm. Which I could never do as a full-time teacher.
What to do after you achieve the impossible dream?
You have to get a NEW dream!
“He’s like Wolverine combined with House, MD.”
Just remember, house got shot once and the only question was why wasn’t he shot earlier…
Whoever shot him would have shot him in the head with an adamantium bullet if he were serious about finishing the job.
Matt, it might interest you to know about Rubber Duck Debugging? You take an inanimate object – traditionally a rubber duck – and calmly and clearly explain what the bug is and how to solve it. As a result the solution will often be forthcoming, or thought through as unsolvable at least.
I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried this method with Java Jaguar – just sat down with your Jaguar plush and talked through any problems with the comic. If you can get a Kick-Fu mug made, or a Kickman plush, you could do that for Kickman too. If you use this as a Hive Valley method you are your own master, but a camera drone model or even a switched-off television would work.
If ideas are the problem then this might help. Good luck finding time for these.
Also if I had known what you were doing with Merlin in the Hive Valley strip we would have had *words*. grumblegrumblepublicdomaincharactergrumble
Aww, c’mon. Merlin was clearly the hero of that strip with that invisibility spell towards the end. :oD
It’s worth it!
