How many sci-fi Easter eggs can you spot? I count 5 franchises but I may have included some unintentional ones as well.
I’ve mentioned before how I am more productive when I am homeless. Well, I just uploaded this Java Jaguar strip on Tuesday from Panera. See, homeless for two nights and I’m already two days ahead on comic publishing. Maybe I should find a spot to park my van by a river and just stay homeless for a year to finish up like six Kickman trade paperbacks and my 3-part novel series. Maybe also get that online seminary degree I’ve been meaning to get.

Slipspace might be Halo? I like reading some sci fi, but actually not too strong on any of those franchises, so might have missed or mixed
Yup! 5 of 5. Slipspace is from Halo, although I’ve never played it. I asked AI what the most famous sci-fi FTL methods were. I can’t believe I forgot to mention Ludicrous Speed….
The 12 parsecs is also a nod to the Kessel Run in Star Wars. 5 Kick Points for Mad Midas!
