Sorry, I missed a Java update last week. I was finishing up a short story for a submission for the Fellowship of the Indie Authors anthology for 2026. Writing takes so much more time. It’s almost like, in the time it takes to do one drawing I have to write a thousand words.
It looks like this strip is going to be a “buddy road trip in space” at least until they reach the Black Market Nebula. What are the classic road trip movies. There was the movie “Road Trip,” but that had four guys in the car. I keep coming back to Kermit and Fozzie in a Studebaker in the first Muppet Movie.
If Java keeps criticizing Greg’s driving, this may end like Thelma and Louise into a black hole.
I asked the AI to have a giant space bug slam into the windshield of the space van… but, it had its own ideas. Instead it looks like giant tardigrade/ladybug hybrids are trying to eat through the roof of the van.
Road trip movies? The Road To… series with Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour. Actually, DL is enough reason to watch them.
Huh, never heard of those. And there were seven of them? I’m going to see if those are on any streaming services anywhere…
