Java Delayed
But Here’s a Sneak Peek of “Java Vs The Circus of Terror”
Unfortunately I am back in California, where the most draconian Covid-19 lockdown steps are being implemented months after the peak has passed and people are literally starting to just leave the state to live elsewhere. Because of this, since all restaurants and coffee shops are not allowed to seat people indoors to evade brutal sunlight and smoke from wildfires, I find myself unable to keep my Surface charged in order to draw and update comics.
I know, first world problems.
Here are some sneak peak images of Java Vs The Circus of Terror which I will be posting soon-ish, when I get to a place with stable electricity and such. The completed comic will be available on my Patreon page.
Patreon patrons get access to secret Kickman pages that have been scattered throughout the Kickman continuity (like the 3-page Blush Vs Sticky Buns catfight), as well as some high-res images of posters that I have for sale on my Etsy page (like the DC Vs D&D collection)
To address your charging problems, notice that Home Despot (for example) lists a 150 watt 12 volt DC to 120 volt AC power inverter – plugs into TheSocketFormerlyKnownAsCigaretteLIghter in your vehicle and has a pair of sockets for 120 volt appliances, $25 as we “speak”.
As to those draconian measures to which you referred, they’re what’s allowed us to “flatten the curve” as the saying goes, to prevent an overloaded health care system. If it seems like a peak has passed, it’s only because people in general are following the guidelines and rules. People nationwide and statewide are still catching this plague, and people are still dying from it. Follow the data closely and notice the recurring spikes as some people forget that it isn’t over yet.
